Hey, Workie!
Apparently over 75% of the people that wrote JAMB this year got less than 200.
People are crying and rolling on the floor on social media over their JAMB scores, and the only thing I'm wondering is how in the history of JAMB which is literally a multiple-choice exam, nobody has ever gotten a perfect score 🧐
Isn't that a little odd? Or maybe I'm just overthinking it.

CORPORATE BANTS
What Are You Even Saying?
This babe on X talked about how a girl at NYSC camp got in trouble for being rude to a cleaner.
This girl in camp insulted one of our cleaners, because she asked her to move out of the hostel for parade.
In her words “what were you doing when others were making a life for themselves”
The woman cried ehn.
Why would you say such to anyone?
I love how swift her punishment is!
The whole thing really got me thinking about how important it really is to think before you speak, regardless of who you’re speaking to.
In the professional sense, when you're new, you're like a blank slate in the eyes of your colleagues and higher ups.
Every interaction, every comment you make, contributes to the picture they're forming of you.
Thinking before you speak gives you a moment to process. It's like a mini internal filter. You can ask yourself:
Is what I'm about to say accurate and helpful?
Have I fully understood the context?
How might this be perceived by others?
Is this the right time and place to say this?
Does this contribute positively to the conversation or situation?
Taking that brief pause can save you from a lot of potential headaches.
